What we collect, and what happens to it.

This notice describes how information is handled when you use this website — both what you type into it and what it collects automatically as you browse (Google Analytics). It covers this site only. It does not cover what happens once you are talking to us on WhatsApp, by phone or in the office — those are ordinary conversations with Birdview Housing Projects LLP.

The enquiry, appointment, careers and review forms ask for:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address — required on the careers form, optional elsewhere
• What you are looking for
• Your message or notes, if you write any
• A preferred date and time, when you are requesting an appointment
• Your CV as a PDF or Word file, only on the “Join us” form
• Your rating, feedback, project advised, and private verification contact on the “Share Your Experience” client review form

Only your name, phone number and what you are looking for are required on the enquiry forms. The careers form requires your email address. On the client review form, only your name and feedback are required; any verification phone or email provided is kept strictly confidential and is never published.

Enquiry and Appointment forms. When you submit an enquiry or appointment, the details you entered are sent securely to our database (hosted on Supabase) so we can review your request and get back to you. After submission, you are given the option to continue the conversation on WhatsApp. If an enquiry cannot be saved, we say so and offer a WhatsApp handoff; you must press send in WhatsApp for that message to reach us. Appointment availability is checked against existing bookings before you can choose a time.

Client Review form. When you submit a testimonial or review, it is saved securely to our Supabase database in a private pending state. Our senior advisory desk verifies client transactions before approving reviews. Only approved reviews (name, rating, review text, city, and property advised) become visible on the public website. Verification phone numbers and emails remain strictly private to authorized administrators.

The “Join us” form. When you submit it, your name, email, phone number, chosen job category and CV are sent over a secure connection to our website's server, which emails them to our inbox as a job application. The careers database keeps no other copy beyond the email we receive.

Careers form (emailed automatically). Pressing submit sends your application and CV to our server, which emails them to our inbox through Resend, our email delivery service. The CV travels as a genuine email attachment.

Database Storage. Enquiry and Appointment forms send your details directly to our securely managed database so that your lead is never lost, even if you do not open WhatsApp.

WhatsApp. After submitting an enquiry or appointment, you may be presented with a WhatsApp button. This opens a WhatsApp message with your details pre-written — nothing is sent via WhatsApp until you press send in the app. A WhatsApp message you do send is delivered through WhatsApp (owned by Meta) under their terms and stays in your chat history as well as ours.

Because the details may be carried in links to open WhatsApp, those links — including what you typed — may appear in your browser history on the device you used.

We then use what you sent to reply to you and to help with the property enquiry or job application you raised.

If you download the appointment slip PDF, it is generated by your own browser and saved to your device. If you provide an email address with an appointment request, our server can also generate the slip and send it as an email attachment through Resend. Its reference code is randomly generated and is not derived from your phone number or any other detail about you.

Supabase. We use Supabase to securely store your contact enquiries and appointment bookings so that our team can follow up with you.

Google Analytics. Every page loads Google Analytics, a measurement service run by Google. It tells us how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located (city level, worked out from the IP address), what kind of device and browser is used, and which site sent them here. To do this it sets small cookies on your device whose names begin with “_ga”, and Google receives your IP address and standard browser information, as with any request to a Google service. This happens automatically on every visit; it includes nothing you type into a form, and we read the results only as overall traffic statistics, never to identify individuals. Google handles this data under its own terms. You can stop it with any content blocker or Google's official opt-out browser add-on.

Google Maps. Our office locations are shown using an embedded Google map. Loading that map is a request to Google, so Google receives your IP address and standard browser information, as with any embedded map. It receives nothing you typed into a form.

Resend. Our email delivery service receives careers applications and CV attachments, enquiry and appointment details for team notifications, and review details for moderation notifications. When an email address is provided, it also delivers enquiry acknowledgements and appointment request acknowledgements, which can include a PDF slip. Delivery depends on the email service being available; a saved request is not a guarantee of email delivery. Resend processes these messages and delivery logs under its own terms.

Admin sign-in. Supabase handles administrator authentication and two-factor verification. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated sign-in attempts and receives the browser and connection information needed for that check. Our server validates the challenge token with Cloudflare before the sign-in flow continues.

WhatsApp. As described above, only when you choose to send a message.

Your email app. If you ever send us an email yourself, it goes through your own email app and its provider (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, or whichever app you use), under that provider's terms.

Links to Instagram and LinkedIn are ordinary links. Nothing is shared with those services unless you click through to them.

• Google Analytics uses cookies beginning with “_ga”. The admin portal additionally uses session storage for authentication and local storage for login attempt counters and temporary lockout timestamps
• No advertising pixels, no session recording, and no analytics beyond Google Analytics as described above
• Fonts are served from this site, not from Google
• Your details are not sold, rented or shared for advertising

We store your enquiries and appointments in our database to assist you. You can ask us what we hold from it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it; just message or email us and say so. The careers application exists as the email we received — you can make similar requests for it. What also exists is the WhatsApp conversation between us, and any notes we made while helping you. You can delete your side of the WhatsApp conversation yourself at any time. The Google Analytics statistics sit with Google, keyed to a random identifier rather than your name, so there is nothing in them for us to show you, correct or delete.

If we add anything to the site that changes how information is handled — a new contact form that emails us, analytics, or anything that stores enquiries — we will update this page to say so.
